RegCure is a powerful but easy to use Windows Registry cleaner software. You can use it to clean you registry manually and use your own specifications to choose what gets deleted or what doesn’t. If messing around with the registry yourself doesn’t appeal then simply let RegCure do a through scan and clean automatically while you sit back and relax.
RegCure features an easy to use interface and shows a scan progress so you will always know what is going on as your registry is fixed and scanned.Regcure also features and built-in scheduler so you can tell it to scan hourly, daily ,weekly or on a monthly timetable while you have peice of mind and know your windows registry is been taken care of. The RegCure Review:
If you are using Windows Xp or Vista you can take advantage of RegCures backup and restore features and protect againest accidental deletions using system restore points or backup files. If you’re using Windows 2000 or Windows 98 a backup file is created everytime a registry item is removed.
RegCure can also manage and organise your Windows startup items so you can improve the startup speed of your computer. Be choosing which programs get launched when your computer starts you can prevent additional unneeded software for starting that will bog down your system.
When you first install RegCure and open the program you are greeted with a simple interface that isn’t very imtimidating to first time users of registry deletion software. You start in the Scan area with a list of 11 different registry items that can be scanned for including uninstall entries, font entries, shared dlls, application paths and help files information. Running your cursor over these different options in the program reveals more about them.
After clicking the scan now button you are taken to step two of the scanning process. In this window you are given a status window of how your registry scan is progressing plus a run down of any problems found in the different registry areas you selected in step one. Again this is a very easy to understand window. It pays to be patient here becuase it will usually take a while to scan your entire registry.
Once scanning is finished you are shown how many registry problems have been found and in what areas they were found. You are then prompted to fix the errors. If you are using the demo version you now have to purchase the RegCure software to proceed with the fixes.
In the setting area of RegCure you can select to have system restore points created, This is a good idea incase there are any problems cuased by accidental registry deletions. You can also setup an ignore list so you can guarantee that any registry items on the ignore list won’t be deleted. Plus you can scheldue your registry scans to be performed daily, weekly or monthly and include a start time. So what not scan your registry while you are fast asleep even.
Another great feature about RegCure is you can manage your startup programs. This is one area that can affect computer performance greatly as many programs you don’t want to use can be loaded as soon as you start up your computer without you knowledge or permission and this can be a big drain on performance. In RegCure you can manage the startup programs and remove ones that you aren’t using right then freeing up resources.
Overall I thought Regcure was a simple to use but powerful registry cleaner and would recommend it highly to those of you looking for a fast, efficient Windows registry fixer.
