If You Can’t Open Regedit Then View This Easy Solution.

Computers have been part of our daily lives. We use at work, in school or simply for fun. We are just so dependent on this machine. So what happens then if one day you’ll just wake up and you will find out that it is not working the way it should be? It’s hell! I know how it feels because mine had just been messed up few days ago. I just woke up one morning and I can’t open regedit. I was just wondering because I don’t remember doing anything to my computer that might have caused the problem. I tried opening regedit through start and run box and typed regedit but it just didn’t work. I was too desperate that I have to bug one of my friends to help me get out from this problem. First he asked me if I already did a virus scan (I was just to pre-occupied I even forgot that I need to do that).

According to him I might had been infected by a certain virus. And for me to be able to determine how to fix it, I should know what virus had hit my machine. I just can’t get the connection though because all I know was that I can’t be infected by any of these viruses since I have a security program. I was just lucky it worked. There are lots of instances this process won’t work. You can try disabling your security program because it sometimes interferes while you are trying to open your regedit. Going on a safe mode do help sometimes but it would not be so safe to be in this mode for a long time. Not only are some programs not running but your machine would be more endangered because computers are not too protected when they are under safe mode.

Also try to check if you have a spare copy of regedit.exe in your C:\Windows\System32\Dllcache folder, try to have a right click on it then copy and paste it in your C:\Windows folder. Uncheck the hidden files and folders, hide any protected operating file that you see then click on OK. I was just so impressed with my friend because he knows a lot in fixing this kind of computer trouble.
