If any problems arise from registry values been removed from the registry by registry Toolkit you can simply select the system restore point created previously and restore your registry to its previous state.
Registry Toolkit also features a program manager that lets you remove unused programs that were installed previously and take out the clutter that is slowing down your systems performance. It will remove any applications not completely removed by the default windows add and remove program or by the programs own uninstall option.

When you first run Registry Toolkit after installation it goes straight into scanning mode. The scan time for the entire registry was a little under two minutes which is about average. As the scan progresses a running total of any problems found and in which area they lurk are shown. Once the san is finished you’re prompted to view the results. From the results screen you can select the different registry areas such as application paths or start menu shortcuts and discover exactly what errors have been discovered. You can choose to delete individual registry entries or delete them all at once. The evaluation version of Registry Toolkit only fixes one section (there are 13 total.) So it’s recommended you purchase the software if you want to completely remove all the errors found.
In the settings section you can choose from a number of different options including if you should create a system restore point, if the program should scan at startup or which options in the registry you should scan for.
Overall I thought Registry Toolkit was a well put together peice of software with some features not found in many other registry scanner and fixers. It scans your system quickly and I liked how detailed the scan results page was.
