There are a number of errors which can be caused by a corrupted or bloated registry. I have listed a few of the more common problems that can occur here. If you’re experiencing any of these issues then there is a good chance your registry needs repairing either manually or by using a good registry repair tool.

  1. Blue or Black screens when you first post up your computer. If you experience this problem then you should have your registry repaired as son as possible.
  2. Slow application processing times. If a program takes a long time to close or open it can mean a sluggish registry is the cause.
  3. You see reoccurring messages such as “programname.exe can not be opened.”
  4. There are programs present in your add/remove programs list that you aren’t familiar with.
  5. If you try to remove a program from your system it won’t delete

As I mentioned earlier, these are some of the more common symptoms that can point towards a corrupted registry but there are many more minor issues that can occur if a registry if having problems running efficently.
